Services / Systems & Security Assessment

Know what you’re running before you build anything.

Call us before you spend real money on software, roll AI out to your team, or hand client data to a new vendor. Ridgeborn’s Systems & Security Assessment is a fixed-fee review of how your business actually runs: the software, spreadsheets, and AI tools your team uses, where your data goes, and what’s exposed. You get a written report and a 90-day plan that says what to fix, what to buy, and what, if anything, is worth building.

Our assessments are built on 25 years of cybersecurity experience at a Fortune 100 company, including five years managing penetration testing and ten leading red teams. Most small businesses have never had that kind of expertise look at their setup.

If the answer is a tool you can buy, the report says so. You don’t have to hire us for the build.

What the assessment covers.

Systems and data map
Every system, spreadsheet, and tool your team relies on, and where client data moves between them.
Exposure review
What’s exposed and to whom. That includes the AI tools staff use, approved or not, and what your vendors’ terms let them do with your data.
Fix, buy, or build
For each problem we find: change a setting, buy an off-the-shelf tool, or build something custom. Most findings don’t need custom software.
A 90-day plan
The work in order: what to do first and what can wait. Your team can run it, or we can.

A good fit if

  • You’re about to spend real money on software and want a second opinion first
  • Your team adopted tools faster than anyone could keep track of them
  • Client or patient data is the thing you can’t afford to leak
  • You want it done by someone who broke into systems for a living

Not the right call if

  • You need a full network penetration test (we can point you to the right people)
  • You have one small, well-defined build in mind (a scoping deposit fits better)
